I'm using MyDraw specifically for making genograms and and wondering how to edit the text. when I add a new family member, the default setting has "enter birth date" above and "enter name: below the generic shape but it's not clear how to edit this. any advice?

Hello,

This problem is fixed with the latest version.
However you can overcome it by right-clicking on the shape and select "Shape Properties..." then change the Selection Mode to "Shapes First".
This way you will be able to edit both the name and the birth date.
