Performance Management Scorecard Template

A Balanced Scorecard—often abbreviated as “BSC”— is a strategy and performance management framework. By using the balanced scorecard businesses choose the right things to measure so that they can reach the set goals. This framework allows organizations to have a focus on overall company performance.

A performance management balanced scorecard looks at the organization from four different perspectives to measure its health:

• Learning and Growth- looks at overall corporate culture.
• Internal Business Processes- looks at how smoothly the business is running.
• Customer- focuses on the people who actually buy the products and services.
• Financial- views organizational financial performance and the use of budget resources.

By having a strategic vision, businesses have the potential to break down into specific, actionable steps to take on a day-to-day basis.
