When should we use a sales invoice?

The Sales Invoice is used by companies to inform customers of the amount they owe in the exchange for goods or services they have purchased.

Important

The invoice should include a Unique Reference Number, Description of services or products including quantity, cost per unit and total item cost, applied discounts (if any) and the Total amount charged with Tax Information. It is advisable to include information about the issue date, payment due date, and delivery date.
