The ability to import SVG image files would instantly make the gigantic Openclipart collection available for use. While OC also offers PNG files of several sizes, SVG files will scale up and down better than the bitmap PNG files do. It would also allow MyDraw to interoperate with several open source graphical tools, such as Inkscape and LibreOffice Draw.

Hi Albert,

Thank you for your suggestion about the SVG import. The good news is that this is a planned feature for MyDraw and will be included with the software in the near future (most likely after the release of the online version of MyDraw later this year). Currently, the only supported vector formats though are WMF, EMF and EMF+, which you can utilize for SVG images after conversion. We hope this helps - let us know if you have questions.
