Yippee, v4.0.0 has a "recent files" list.
Except, oops, it doesn't work on my mac. Choosing any of the files from the list results in a dialog box:
Failed to Open File / Error message: Access to the path "/Users/steve/Documents/ThisDoc.ndx" is denied. / OK
I can use Finder to navigate to the doc and launch it from there no problem, so obviously, there should be no access problem.
The document appears in the Recent Documents list because I saved it there using MyDraw in the first place (though I saved it using v3.9, the previous version).
Perhaps it's because of the version upgrade in conjunction with docs that I worked on in a previous version of MyDraw. Is there a way to clear the Recent Docs list?

Yes! It worked.
After installing the update, my "Recent Docs" list was cleared; then, when I opened my document, closed it, quit MyDraw and relaunched MyDraw, my document was in the Recents list... and choosing it from the list resulted in my document being opened. Success, thank you
